Colossians 1:24-29 QUESTIONS
Questions for Growth Groups and Personal Reflection
Read Colossians 1:24-29
As you read the passage or listened to the sermon, what stood out to you, challenged you or stayed with you?
Where do you most need Christ’s word to “work in you” at the moment, bringing understanding, correction or encouragement?
Paul labours and struggles with the energy God provides. Where do you feel weary in serving Christ, and what might it look like to rely on His energy rather than your own?
“Christ in you, the hope of glory” — how does that truth reshape the way you face your week, your relationships, or your worries?
Paul’s aim is to present everyone “perfect in Christ.” What helps you grow towards maturity in Christ, and what hinders you?
If the Gospel is what matters most, not the messenger, how might that change the way you speak about Jesus or serve in church life?
Paul proclaimed Jesus, admonishing and teaching everyone with allwisdom to present everyone perfect (mature) in Christ. Where might God be prompting you to gently teach, warn or encourage someone in your own Christian community?
Spend some time praying about your answers to the above.
