In what ways can the pursuit of “just a bit more” quietly shape attitudes, decisions, or priorities without being noticed?
How might Jesus use unanswered or delayed prayers to draw attention to something deeper going on in the heart?
The parable: the anatomy of folly (vv.16-20)
Which of the rich man’s five follies—misreading abundance, misjudging ti me, assuming control, a false sense of purpose, or valuing the temporary over the eternal—feels most recognisable in everyday life, and why might it be so easy to slip into it?
